Palm Treo 755p BlueThe Palm Treo 755p from Sprint was an upgrade from the 700p and every improvement is worthy. For starters, the most notable change is the giving up of the external antenna to give a more modern look which is more than welcome. Ergonomically, there are no other major changes. But some weight is shed to give a lighter QWERTY device though, with room for even more slimming. The screen, quoted at 2.5” is abundant for all display needs. The resolution of 65K colors and heavy pixel density ensures that everything is crisp and clear. You get a fully operable touchscreen, to add to the user friendliness. Hardware keys are still present though.
Coming to the specifications part of the 755p, there is more than one reason to celebrate. You get more dedicated social networking with an IM app, Google Maps for simple navigation. For your office needs you get Microsoft Word, Excel editors and PPT, PDF viewers. The snappy 312MHz CPU, you get speedy responses. You also have 128MB of RAM, with 60MB user memory. For all your storage needs, you are at liberty to expand it to 4GB. For your internet needs, the Palm Treo has 3G and supports Sprints EVDO network which gives you privileged data exchange speeds of up to 600kps. That should make browsing a memorable experience. There’s a 1.3MP camera for point and shoot photography and video recording. Bottom Line: A great phone to have for all your smartphone needs. Though there is lack of Wi-Fi considered essential in today’s range of smartphones, you still get a lot in the package. More Information About Palm and Sprint PCS Cell Phones |
