Are you a newbie or a professional podcaster?
Both can find VITO SoundExplorer useful

Recording podcasts has become very fashionable nowadays among mobile device users. Have you already become an avid listener of podcasts (like those at MobileTechRoundup.com created by James Kendrick, Matt Miller and Kevin C.Tofel) or maybe you even tried to record your own podcasts? Windows Mobile device owners can benefit from using sound applications like VITO SoundExplorer and VITO SoundEditor for recording, editing and listening to podcasts. Both newbies and professionals are likely to take advantage of these professional yet easy to use sound applications.

A newbie user of SoundExplorer says "I have been using it daily for a long time and it really works for voice notes, recordings and for music. It has great functions that really work and an easy to use UI."

SoundExplorer is an mp3 player, an audio recorder and a file explorer designed specially for browsing music content - all in one. This way you can listen practically to any audio files (mp3, wav, ogg, wma). Moreover, SoundExplorer excellently performs functions of an audio recorder in most popular audio formats: mp3 and wav. You can start recording with one button just in a sec. Scheduling makes SoundExplorer record even when you forget to turn it on.

Todd Ogasawara, a professional podcaster, says about SoundExplorer: "Fortunately, SoundExplorer can record directly to an mp3 file and in various formats. I chose the higher quality 44KHz 16bit 96Kbps recording format to get the best quality sound. The 30 second clip I recorded created a 358KB file. This is much much smaller than the file size required to contain a equivalent quality 30 second wav sound recording."

Podcast experts may take advantage of editing tools as well. For instance, you may append and continue recording from the desired place. Another feature is wav to mp3 converting that saves space on your device as mp3 files require much less disk space. Pros can make use of VITO SoundEditor for accurate and precise editing of their podcasts. In addition it has undo/redo function and automatically creates a copy of audio file before editing. So be sure that your original file remains safe.

SoundExplorer can satisfy demands of podcasters for recording their own podcasts and prove very comfy for listening to various podcast shows. You can slow down any rattling podcaster to make out his babbling. Try it yourself! Who knows, maybe you are the next big podcast star?

Hi VitOL,

Podcast software has certainly come a long way over the past few years! According to a recent review I read, the top-rated free podcast programs are Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and Odeo Studio (http://odeo.com/studio). For those who just want to listen to podcasts, there are tons of free players all over the net.
