Alltel Offers New 3-D Games for Wireless Customers
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., May 16, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- "Extreme Air Snowboarding," "Slam Basketball," and "Trophy Whitetail Hunting 2005" are just a few of the new 3-D games now available for Alltel wireless customers.
"Gamers are going to be extremely happy with these offerings, which will enable them to play their favorite games anywhere on their Alltel phones," said Wade McGill, vice president of wireless product management for Alltel. "These games feature rich graphics with remarkable depth and offer gameplay that is similar to the console experience. They really showcase the capabilities of today's handsets."
Alltel's first 3-D titles also include Splinter Cell: Pandora, Evel Knievel, "Ironman" Off-Road Racing, AMF Xtreme Bowling, Zoo Cube and Beach Mini Golf. The games can be downloaded from the Alltel Axcess Shop section on the Motorola V710 phone. Additional handsets to play the 3-D games will be available in the future.
The games are priced between $2.99 and $3.99 for monthly subscriptions and between $6.25 and $8.49 for unlimited use. Additional 3-D games will be offered later this year.
The Motorola V710 is available from Alltel for $249.99 with a two-year contract.
Alltel is a customer-focused communications company with more than 13 million customers and $8 billion in annual revenues. Alltel provides wireless, local telephone, long-distance and broadband services to residential and business customers in 27 states.

From the big cities of New York, Miami and Las Vegas, to international locations such as Cuba and Hong Kong, Asphalt: Urban GT allows gamers to take off on a high-speed ride across the globe. Competition is fierce, and drivers need to maneuver through thick traffic, barriers and roadblocks to reach the finish line.
