I want to know whether CDMA phone purchased in one country from a carrier can be used in another country. In global GSM phones, if the phone is unlocked, then the SIM card can be changed and used in a different country. Is there something equivalent in CDMA phones too? For e.g., If I have a CDMA phone from Verizon in US, is there any way that I can use it in India by signing up with local CDMA provider?
