Ikee written by Townes, virus of iPhone, can achieve self-reproducing and automatically replace the phone wallpaper to the photo of renowned pop singer Rick Astley on 80's. Ikee is not a malicious virus, but it leads to the emergence of many malicious variants virus.
Currently, Townes was employed by the Australian iPhone application developers Mogeneration, who was responsible for developing iPhone applications. Grham Cluley of Sophos, staff security agencies said, "It was misinterpreted that he was rewarded by what he did instead. He never even expressed remorse for these acts.” Townes said he intended to write viruses to raise awareness of safety issues. He has not been charged with any crime.

There is no lack of well-known examples of hackers employed by companies in IT industry. Townes is the latest one. In 2008, the New Zealand hacker Owen Thor Walker is hired as security consultants in a telecommunications company.
