Bluetoothe Help Please...

Hi
I’ve had my Acer Travelmate C110 for about a year and a half and it came with built in Bluetooth. Couple of months ago my Bluetooth stopped working…I don’t know why…and now I can’t use it at all. I think that somehow the hardware has turned itself off and I’ve tried everything to solve it (however I’m no expert on computers) also around about the same time, my wireless internet connection went a bit funny. It still works, but if I close the lid or log off, the wireless connection dies and its impossible to regain a connection unless I restart my computer…please could you help because it’s a real waste of my Bluetooth feature.

Hi Patrick,

Just want to make sure I understand you. This is for an Acer laptop computer, not a cell phone, right?

Well I'm not much of an expert either, you might want to seek one out. One quick suggestion, if you are running Windows XP, I believe there is a feature in XP that will allow you to restore settings that were present on the computer previously. (Many cell phones also have a Restore to Factory settings feature.)

It may be worth a try, but it will take away some other customizing you may have done.
