Jabra seems to be providing misinformation on their website. The earphone works fine but there is a major issue with the mic with the Blackberry. I have both the 250 and the 250v. Neither of them work and Nextel, Jabra and Blackberry each point the finger at each other. As a consumer I've hit a wall. Beware of Jabra BlueTooth products if you are a Blackberry owner.

FYI: someone at the Jabra troubleshooting number was honest enough to admit to me that Jabra Bluetooth and Blackberry are their biggest headache.

If anyone has a solution - PLEASE respond. I've got two earphones that are too small to be used even as door stops.

To those who own the Jabra 250v I suggest giving it to your wife or girlfriend for use as a vibrator. A very expensive quickie vibrator that is useless as a bluetooth communication device because the mic is not compatable with the Blackberry.

There's one suggestion for alternate uses of the Jabra Bluetooth headset.

Come on!!! Please offer other alternate uses. Be innovative! Remember, it's likely too small to use for a door stop.

Have you tried deleting the headset from Paired Devices and Reinstalling it?

If you can't get the Jabras to work will they take them back? (since they admit they've had issues with it)

Yup - tried that. Jarbra takes no responsibility for the incompatibility. They consider it Blackberry's problem. Nextel (who I bought the Blackberry from) says their responsibility stops at pairing.

The person at Jabra support that told me that Blackberry is one of their biggest problems was not admitting that to me officially. They told me that Blackberry software updates would be the answer.

Absolutely ridiculous. I personally feel that Jabra is misrepresenting their product on their site when they claim it is compatible with the 7520. I sent them an email and told them they should remove that indicator from their site but have heard nothing and don't expect to.
