This looks like a cool phone, when it arrives. Delays cause more delays.
Another possible reason for the delay is that this phone, like some that Nokia and others are rolling out , has even more features that carriers will not support on their networks. (Did they say video conferencing? Outa sight!)

T-Mobile delays W-Lan/3G phone

Following the strange case of the disappearing Apple/Motorola mobile music phone, it appears that T-Mobile has put its 3G/WiFi smart-phone on hold until later in the year. The German mobile giant refused to give a clear reason for the delay and would only say that it hopes to push it out in the autumn.
One possible reason for the postponed launch is that the company wants to wait until the terminals can ship with the new version of Windows Mobile 2005 pre-installed. This latest version of Bill Gates' mobile operating system, also known as Magneto, is not expected to be ready until the summer at the earliest. The network operator has been deliberately vague about which version of Windows the new device will support.
The new handset, which is currently being referred to only by its code-name "Universal" (but will in fact be called the MDA IV), is being manufactured by HTC in Taiwan. The first announcement from T-Mobile, at the beginning of last month, insisted the new devices would be ready for shipment by the end of March.
The terminals, when they finally appear, will be powered by a 520 MHz XScale processor and will offer GSM/3G/WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The mini-laptop style devices will also boast two cameras - one for stills and the other for video-conferencing, in addition it will house a large fold-away VGA 640 x 480 pixel screen. The company has yet to announce a price for the new terminal.
