The 2005 Rogers PWR PLAY Gaming Championships culminated in Toronto last Saturday, May 7th, on the heels of regional tournaments across the country. Cheered on by hundreds of fans, six finalists from the thousands of regional participants competed in three head-to-head showdowns to determine national Rogers Wireless, Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet and Rogers Video champions. One lucky finalist, Khalil Omar from Ottawa, Ontario, won a trip for four to the Disneyland(R) Resort in California. Increasing the energy at this elite title fight, the 2005 Juno Award winning band Billy Talent treated guests to a live set to help celebrate the occasion.
