TORONTO, ON and REDWOOD CITY, CA, Dec. 9, 2003 /CNW/ - Rogers AT&T Wireless and Visto today jointly announced the availability of an enhanced wireless data solution that provides customers in every region of Canada with real-time wireless access to their desktop information on their Rogers AT&T Wireless PDA.
Visto Corporation, a leading provider of personal and office mobile messaging solutions that are easy to install, administer and use, is the power behind "Enhanced Wireless Desktop" from Rogers AT&T Wireless. This new service provides customers with mobile access to office and personal e-mail from their choice of a Rogers AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS wireless PDA including the Siemens SX56, Handspring Treo 270 and Palm Tungsten W.

Enhanced Wireless Desktop provides Rogers AT&T Wireless' customers with the ability to easily send, receive, reply, and forward any message from the customer's office or personal e-mail. In addition to e-mail access, Visto has added over the air (OTA) calendar and contacts synchronization capabilities with selected wireless devices.

Customers need only install client software on their Rogers AT&T Wireless PDA and their desktop PC to enable seamless and secure access to their e-mail, calendar and contacts.
Enhanced Wireless Desktop is included free with any of the Data Service Plans available to Rogers AT&T Wireless customers - a $120 annual value. The Lite Plan offers 3MB of wireless data for $25/month; the Plus Plan offers 7MB of wireless data for $40/month; and the Max Plan offers 15MB of wireless data for $60/month. In addition, there is a 100 MB Plan that includes 100MB of wireless data for $100/month, recommended for users of wirelessly enabled laptops or those who require significantly larger amounts of e-mail, Internet and access to attachments.
