No not really, according to nextel.com they say the following: Your SIM card is not fully compatible although phone calls and emergency 911 calls will still be supported. Your old phone was built before Nextel could bring you improved contact entry memory and new features. To transfer your existing contact information - names, phone numbers, etc. - from your home or office, use Nextel?s Address Book, a web-based mobile contact management system at nextel.com. If you do not already have Address Book service, visit our [url "Address Book section for details and contact your sales representative or Customer Care to add it to your plan. For step-by-step instructions on how to use Address Book to transfer your contact information, see the How to Transfer Contacts Online section in Address Book. Or, you can take your phone to your nearest Nextel Service and Repair center or Nextel Retail location. Visit our Service and Repair section to find pricing details and a location near you.
