(NYSE: MOT), a global leader in wireless communications, today introduced the new model V400 handset arriving at Cingular Wireless stores nationwide this week. Cingular Wireless will be the first North American carrier to offer the Motorola V400 flip-phone, giving its customers the exclusive opportunity to grab this mobile marvel.
The Motorola V400 phone is the first camera phone in Cingular's portfolio to provide a full suite of advanced photo messaging features including a VGA quality camera with 4x zoom capabilities, self-timer for easy self-portraits, photo caller-id and an easy-to-use two-click photo capture process. Users can store photos in the phone's 5MB of available memory, or instantly share them using Cingular's Multimedia Messaging (MMS) service. And, with the model V400's robust and vibrant full-color display, users will be able to clearly view and capture life's unforgettable moments.
The quad-band GSM/GPRS handset with integrated speakerphone incorporates featured applications designed to help users stay connected throughout all their travels. Leveraging the phone's easy-to-use and intuitive navigation capabilities, users can quickly access Cingular Extras to download great content like ringtones, images, and wallpaper.
