I WAS TOLD WHEN I BOUGHT THE MOTOROLA V710 THAT I COULD USE MY OWN MUSIC AS RINGTONES AND TO DO THAT I NEEDED TO BUY THE DATA CONNECTIVITY KIT TO DOWN LOAD THE MUSIC FROM MY PC TO MY PHONE... CANT FIQUARE OUT HOW???
That is true you can use your own music for ringtones. It can be accomplished in many ways. The V710 is a Bluetooth capable phone so by having bluetooth on your computer or purchase a bluetooth adapter you should be able to transfer your music and have custom ringtones. Keep in mind that the V710 only has 10MB of space so a transflash card may be needed for expanded storage if you plan on a lot of mp3s.
