I am not sure what to do here or who to blame. My alltel V710 will no longer charge when I plug it in. I went back to an alltel dealer to tell them since the phone is only 3 months old and is under warranty. Two weeks later I get my phone returned to me, (meanwhile I am still paying a bill with no use of a phone) and in the box is the same phone still broken. I call up motorola and they say that someone tampered with it so it is no longer covered by the warranty. I have two cell phones that I carry around and the other one is working fine. I never took this phone apart or did anything to it. As it is I was on vacation when this happened in Rhode Island where there are no alltel dealers. Now I am stuck buying a brand new phone at full cost. I am getting screwed over here and I don't know what to do. Please someone offer some suggestions.
