Long anticipated, the new Samsung P207 will listen to your voice and type your Instant Message or Text Message for you. Taking Hands Free to a new level, Samsung's Voice-To-Text innovation (called VoiceMode®) is sure to win friends among those who hate typing W, G-H, A, W-X-Y-Z, W-X-Y-Z, T-U, P, .-,-@-1-? Wow, even menu scrolling functions are being controlled by voice on this unique phone. Will Samsung, long a leader in Advanced Voice Recognition, make this standard on future models? (Not without it's problems obviously. I'm reminded of Wally sneaking up behind Dilbert who is immensely enjoying showing off his new Voice controlled PC; Wally hollers "Delete a File!" and Dilbert is startled from his triumphal fog back to reality by the beep of the PC wiping out his work.) As one who loves all things hands free, if VoiceMode was made available on a variety of handsets, I would be sorely tempted to abandon my Sanyo. Don't know if I would, 'cuz the Sanyo can read email and web content to me, but still..... How 'bout you?
