Samsung Inc, not brash enough to predict it will become #1 (as another company did earlier this week. See the story, 4 forums above this one) set it's sights on becoming #2. See story below. What do you think, Samsung users? Have they got what it takes? To put it another way: If you had it to do over again, would you buy a Samsung phone again? Same model as you have, or different? Do you recommend Samsung to your friends? C'mon put it out here and talk about it. from http://english.chosun.com/w21data/html/news/200503/200503150015.html Samsung Poised to Grab 2nd Place in Global Cell Phone Market Samsung Electronics is expected to regain the No. 2 position in terms of its share of the global cellular phone market. Industry watchers have forecast Samsung to sell around 25 million handsets in the first quarter, in contrast to a projected 26 million for Motorola, currently ranked second after Nokia. But Samsung is expected to be the only top-tier cell phone maker to post double-digit rises in sales during the first quarter, leading many analysts to project the rebound. U.S.-based Motorola is expected to see handset sales slip 18-percent this quarter from the end of last year. Nokia, the world's biggest handset maker, is also expected to see sales shrink by almost 17-percent to 55 million units in the first quarter. Arirang TV
