Not a surprise to those who have noticed the lack of new phones to USA and Canada, Panasonic made it official recently.
What do you think about this? Once a powerhouse, will Panasonic even be missed now? Sound off.

Panasonic announced the closure of its North American division of Mobile Phones. Over the past two years Panasonic has failed to bring out more advanced handsets to the American market. The last Panasonic mobile phone was carried by AT&T Wireless in 2003.
Since 2003 Panasonic had tired to sell some of there newer mobile phones off there website however this didn’t help. The company is said to be aiming more towards the Plasma TV, Digital Cameras, and DVD recorder for the North American market. Panasonic will still be offering phones for Europe and Japan.
