Hi guys,

Recently Nokia announced its plans to launch N86 8MP in the US, with a price tag of US$558, which is much more than similar models from Samsung and Sony Ericsson. Technical Details

Now i want your suggestion on this model. Please let me know if you know anything about this up coming model because i have made a plan to buy it when they will release in US market.

Thanks!

Hi Divyesh,

Thanks for stopping by. I have to say, it does sound like an amazing phone! It seems that the biggest advantage is the powerful eight megapixel, dual LED flash camera. Apparently, the quality of the pictures will be just as high as ones taken with a digital camera, so if you're planning to use it mainly to take pictures, the high price might be worth it. Personally, I already have a digital camera, so I'd probably opt for a model that was a little cheaper.

If you do buy it, I hope you'll stop by and let us know what you think!

Hi,
I think other than camera quality of 8 mega pixels ,there are some other good features also like there is a built-in music player which supports all the popular formats as well as an FM Radio.
Application-wise the Nokia N86 is packed, there is also support for GPS, Voice memo, as well as the usual document editing software.
Thanks.

nowadays,
Chinese goods were historically considered to be of lowest quality but the trend is that of the past and nowadays chinese phones appear to have generated a good market share.

In Mumbai, almost every cellphone shop sells chinese phones. They have very good features and that also at a throwaway price compared to popular branded phones having the same features. The life of these phones is not so good as compared to branded ones but nowadays when people change the phone every six months, this hardly matters.

I feel that it's high time for branded cellphone manufacturer's to wake up and change their Marketing strategy and create value for money phones otherwise time is not far when they will have a minority share in the market.
