I have a Motorola V400 phone for Cingular Wireless purchased from Cingular. I purchased from the Motorola web site the Customizable One-Touch Headset with Send/End Key - 98461. Motorola customer support says this headset will work with the v400. I cannot answer an incoming call with the headset answer/end button. That is, if I have the headset plugged in and receive a call I cannot connect the call by pressing the headset button. When I do press the button the incoming call continues to ring in. It appears that the phone does not "recognize" the button to connect the call. However, I can disconnect a call with the button. If I place a call using the headset, or recieve a call using auto answer set to on using the headset, I can disconnect the call by pressing the headset button. I have tried this heasset on a T720 phone with no problems. It can be used to connect and disconnect calls. Anybody familiar with this problem? Do I need to set some specific attribute in the v400 setup to enable the headset to connect incoming calls? Thanks. John George
