 Strengths: Amazing phone interface, best phone operating system, very good feature set, great music and video, improved call quality
Weaknesses: Short battery life, unimpressive camera, difficulty in typing.

The master of smart phones, the iPhone needs no introduction. The design of the phone along with its sleek exterior and glassy interface is the object of envy for many users and if you are planning to go ahead and spend on this smart phone then it is definitely a good idea. I recently got this phone from a friend and was impressed with the sheer amount of computing power it offered. As a phone, I was quite happy as well since it had excellent voice clarity and the operating system lived up to my expectations.
But…yes, there is a but…the battery life was totally something else. Not only did it fail to live up to the Apple name, it resulted in uneven performance by an otherwise excellent phone. The battery life is one of the main issues with the phone and though the phone is supporting 3G services, it does not feel quite stable. I am sure that the 3G stability issue will be resolved in the coming models and by the regular software upgrades that Apple is so famous for.
So should you take the plunge and buy the ultimate mobile phone in today’s date? Yes, if you are looking for style, high usability and communication centre which has both productivity as well as entertainment features. Add to it the fact, that you can choose from thousands of iPhone apps from the Apple store, and you will find yourself with a unique product and service offering that no other phone has available at the moment.
