I just purchased my first Motorola cellphone V325i. My provider is VerizonWireless and I am not too crazy about their selection of ringtones. I have been searching the Internet to download ringtones, but I am a little hesitant to give out my cell phone number over the Internet. I do not have Internet access through my phone, which I have found is the way many ringtone sites transfer ringtones to your phone. So, I am contemplating purchasing a data cable so I can upload ringtones, wallpaper and other pictures to my phone through my computer. But before I do so, I wonder if any of you who have VerizonWireless have used a data cable for this purpose? The reason I ask is that I have noticed that a number of ringtone and wallpaper websites do not offer downloads to VerizonWireless subscribers. Does VerizonWireless restrict using other sources for ringtones and wallpaper?
