My screen just went blank (blue). And the sound is off. I can dial a number and make a call. Is the screen just in some sort of standby mode? The phone is just a couple of months old and has had no abuse. Any thoughts? Thanks.
If it is only a few months old, take advantage of your warranty and get a new one. LG has several more advanced phones that have come out since the 5225. If the store doesn't have 5225 in stock any more (a real possibility) then perhaps you can trade up to a newer LG or even a Sanyo.
Let us know how they handle this and how you are come out.
I have exactly the same problem--screen all blue, can make a call, but can't answer one or use any other functions. I take it it's just a gonner? Anyone have a solution short of returning it to the store (2,000 miles away)?
I'm looking for a broken lg 5225 to use as a battery charger until my plan runs out. The internal charging piece on my phone failed. if you still have it i may buy it
