LG C1300i and L1400i troubleshooting ringtones

Hi,
I am new to the forum and want to say hello to all.
I have two LG phones, C1300i and L1400i. I cannot change the ring tone from the default setting. I am able to grogram the ring tone I want but when I recieve a call it uses the default ring tone.
Any help resolving this problem is appreciated.

Hi xinnix,

What steps have you taken? On your C1300, try this: Menu>Option 6>Option 2 .

This should allow you to select a ringtone to use.

Let me know how this works.

I found the problem. It was set to the default in names, groups and ringtones for the family group. It took a while but I found it.
Thank you for the reply.
Buy the way how do you like your LG phone. We have not used them enough to have an opinion yet.

I like the LG 325. It has Bluetooth and a sliding keyboard (not a flip style), plus a nice camera.

Would like a longer life battery, though. Maybe they'll come out with one soon.

After you have had yours for a while, let me know what you think.
