I just bought an LG6100 from Verizon and love the phone. I also bought the software to sync the phone with my ACT contact data base. However the software only sync contacts. Does there exist software so that the calendar can be sync-ed as well?

Is this different from the Wireless Sync service available from VZ?

I thought that only worked on a few select phones.

Different Sync. This sync is done thru a USB cable and sync's the phone to a contact data base such as Outlook or Act. Similar to Hot Sync with PDA and outlook.

Ok yes VZ service is limited to about 4 phones, but you have third party software. I don't know what it's capabilities might be,if they offer technical support you might call them.

Other carriers like Sprint have feature that syncs contacts, tasks, directory , email and attachments from any Sprint phone without a cable and from remote location using BCPE.

If your third party doesnt provide tech support, is the software returnable?

Software is returnable (and will be returned). But I am still trying to find out if other software is available that would provide what I am looking for! Love the phone and would like not to return that!

Yes several different ones available. Google or Yahoo search for "sync contacts calendar cell phone" both yielded a couple different choices.

I can't specifically recommend since I haven't used them, but it's a starting point for your search. Research them carefully to find what you want, since you have the benefit of other options being available.

Give an occasional update on what you decide, how it works for you, etc. There are a lot of people who may benefit from your input.
