Hello - I have just registered here and was unable to see a topic on the situation I have with my new LG535 slider phone. I can take videos with no problem and copy them over to my SDcard as well. However, when I place the SDcard into my card reader, I am unable to locate a program to view the videos. I can view my picture directory and pictures fine, but am unable to view the videos I have shot with the LG535.

When I check the properties, the video files are "Type of file: 3GPP2 Content" and the extension or file name is cam0001.3g2, cam0002.3g2, cam0003.3g2 etc., and not only is the telephone company stumped but so am I. All of my Windows XP programs recognize either .vid, .mpg, .mov or similar but this new type of file is not being read by any of my programs onboard.

Does anyone know what program will view these particular files? Or maybe I am doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
blissmeister

I have unsolved the mystery. I didn't realize that the program required to view the video's on my pc/laptop was the latest version of QuickTime. I right/clicked on the file to view the properties of the video file and programmed the file to open in the new version of QuickTime and it seemed to do the trick. I couldn't believe how something so simple, was just about 2 weeks of hell trying to figure it all out.

Thanks.

Hey blissmeister,

Sorry I couldn't get to your post sooner. Yea if that wasn't in the phones manual it should be something they mention.

I'm glad you got it figured out. Thanks for letting us know the solution too!

Cheers,
Brendon
