I'm new to this forum-- just signed up to see if anyone can help me with the following issue: I can't send or receive calls or texts on my lg vx6100!
Last time I talked on it was only ten hours ago, and I haven't dropped it at all in the last few days. I have full signal and have tried to make calls from various locations-- still the same result. I have Verizon and tried updating my call area, but that call wouldn't go through, nor would the call to Verizon. I removed the battery and reset the mobile-- no change. When I dial a number, it tries to connect but never does. I used my boyfriend's Verizon cell to call customer service and troubleshoot, so I know other people are able to connect in the area.
Earilier today my mobile beeped, alerting me that I had a new voicemail. I called my voicemail from a different line and deleted my new messages. The little envelope on the screen that indicates new messages disappeared after that, so it is still registering new information...
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong with it or any suggestions about other things to try? I live on an island where there's no Verizon store, and I won't be able to get to a store until Tuesday. I'm feeling a bit desparate!
