This summer has offered many things to my heart: renewal, restoration, healing, and an invitation into a wide and wild imagination.Woman Jeans I gaze forward to sharing some of those stories here in the coming weeks.
For now, just a poem and an image which are speaking to me in these August days of presence to the gifts in this moment now. I find myself in late summer longing for the chilly crisp days of autumn, but I call myself back, remembering that this season has its own grace.

I will also be offering a fresh course on Lectio Divina: The Sacred Art of Reading the World. Lectio is an ancient, contemplative practice of praying with sacred texts. If you'd like to deepen your prayer this drop and hold some daily guidance and support, consider joining me. Eyes of the Heart: Photography as a Contemplative Practice - pre-register by August 23rd and you will receive a free copy of my art journal Illuminating Mystery: Creativity as a Spiritual Practice. The class will start September 13th or any day following that you would like to start a 6-week journey learning to see the world more deeply.
