it all started a week ago, first the screen gone dark for a little while, then going dark for longer, then this sign appearing on the screen when i turned on the phone with a computer and a cellphone on it and an arrow going from one to the other as if the cell was connected to a computer when it wasnt. Then it behaved correctly for almost a whole week and now it's back to it. First the screen went dark, and when i tried turning it off and then on again, the screen sometimes would go dark from the beginning and sometimes it would go dark slowly and fading, then i tried everything to make it go normal (including connecting and disconnecting the battery several times, and plugging the cell to the socket to charge it a little), and even if connecting it to the wall socket worked for a little while, it went dark again. Now when i try to turn it on, instead of turning on normally, the sign of the computer appears and the cell doesn't turn on.

Please can someone tell me what on earth is going on?! i bought the cell on december and it hasn't been underwater, nor on steem...i don't even charge it while on to preserve the battery! it has been dropped a couple of times but nothing major! i was going to go to my verizon supplier but it started raining madly and i can't go out! i need my cellphone back!

Hi,

This phone should still be under warranty. You probably want to get it to the nearest VZ service location as quickly as possible.

It could be related to being dropped. Maybe not. Let them make that determination. Do you have insurance on it if they tell you it is damaged and not defective?

Check back in with us and give us an update. We're always interested to hear what kind of service is being given by tech support folks, retail phone stores, over the phone customer service, etc.
