Kyocera 7135 - Palm OS version

I've noticed that the current Palm OS version in the 7135 is 4.1. This is surprising to me because 5.x has been available for a while.

Has anyone successfully upgraded a phone to 5.x?

The 7135 is flash upgradeable, but Kyocera hasn't offered an OS 5 upgrade. OS 5 requires an ARM family processor and the Kyo's 33 MHz Motorola Dragonball won't suffice.
