What are CDMA cell phones and why should I buy them from you?

Good question.  There’s a lot of technology and technical terms out there and it can make it hard to figure out what exactly you need.  After all, don’t most of us just want cell phones that look cool and work well?  When we hear CDMA cell phones or GSM cellular phones or tri band or quad band, don’t we tend to turn our brains off and just look at the neat color screen on our Black Cherry LG phone?  Well, let’s see if we can clear up the confusion over quad band cell phones, CDMA, GSM and all the rest and see if we can get you some great deals in the meantime.

First, it’s good to know that CDMA cell phones and GSM cellular phones are what are used most in the United States and Canada.  CDMA stands for Code Division Multiple Access, which sounds like something you might hear on Star Trek.  But what it means is that CDMA phones can be used just about anywhere in North America because they interpret both analog and digital service.  GSM phones don’t have analog capability, but they do have tri band and quad band capability, so they can be used in other countries as well.
