Extending the Life of your Samsung Cell Battery

There’s an old wives tale that putting batteries in the refrigerator will make them last longer. While this may be true for your basic Duracell, we don’t recommend trying this with a Samsung cell battery. If you do, chances are the battery will be damaged. Especially if the Samsung cell battery is still in your phone! That being said, here are some basic ways to care for your Samsung cell battery to make it last as long as possible:
•    Turn off your phone at night: Yes, it sounds simple but its not something that everyone does. When you go to bed at night, turn off your phone (unless you’re expecting a late-night call of course).
•    Disconnect the Bluetooth: If you don’t expect to use the Bluetooth for awhile, turn it off. Bluetooth saps a lot of energy from your Samsung cell battery.
•    Minimize the sounds and alerts: Vibrating alerts and keypad sounds both take a lot of energy as well. Turn them down, or better yet, turn them off. Only use the vibration feature if you are in a place like a movie theater or church.
•    Turn it down: The brightness that is. Turn it as low as possible for your vision. Also, go to your phone settings and set the back-light to turn off after a short amount of time.
•    Applications off: The more applications or games that you have running, the more power will be drained from your Samsung cell battery. So, when you’re done with an application, turn it off.
These methods will help save the life of your Samsung cell battery. But, no battery lasts forever. So, when you need a new Samsung cell battery, check out cell-phone-plans.net.
