What Is T-Mobile?
T-Mobile (also known as Telekom Mobile) is a telephone provider based in Bonn, Germany. The largest European telecommunications company, Deutsche Telekom, presently owns T-Mobile. In addition to being one of the largest cell phone providers in the world, it is also the one of the largest multinational providers.
To date, T-Mobile operates in ten different countries including Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Macedonia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Poland, and the Netherlands. In the United States alone, T-Mobile has more than 34 million customers.
One of the biggest T-Mobile advancements was the release of the T-Mobile G1 — a phone that could operate using Google’s revolutionary Android software. Android allows users to access all of Google’s popular tools including Gmail, GTalk, Google Maps, Google Calendar, and YouTube.
Another of T-Mobile’s great successes is the exclusive rights to the Samsung Behold, which is only available to T-Mobile customers. The Samsung Behold was one of the first touch-screen phones to be released by Samsung. T-Mobile has gained the J.D. Power and Associates away for customer satisfaction, the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For award, and the 2009 World’s Most Ethical Companies award.
Consumers who use the T-Mobile network are generally happy with the service that T-Mobile provides, and this company has even been ranked one of the highest in customer satisfaction by current customers. T-Mobile is available in the areas mentioned above, and it is safe to assume that this provide will be branching out into other countries in the near future.
