Top 10 AT&T Upgrades

It’s that time again – your contract is up and you’re eligible to bump up to a bigger and better phone from AT&T. Whether you are happy with your current phone or wish you would’ve made a better decision, AT&T upgrades offer another bevy of choices to make. While touch screen phones dominating much of the buzz and hype these days, there is considerably more to consider as far as features go. Check out the top 10 AT&T upgrades currently available for those renewing their contracts – read carefully, otherwise you’ll have two years to be remorseful over your decision.

1. LG Vu CU920

Unsurprisingly, the top spot for AT&T upgrades is a sleek touch screen smartphone. The LG Vu CU920 has a spacious 3 inch display which is perfect for viewing websites (in full HTML rendering), downloaded videos and AT&T’s Mobile TV, the last of which lets you watch mobile channels suc has Fox Mobile and NBC News2Go and more. On AT&T’s EDGE network, downloads are quick and calls are crisp, too. With POP and IMAP e-mail capabilities, Bluetooth 2.0 support and an ample battery life, this phone is also decent for business users, too.

2. UT Starcom QuickFire

The number two spot among AT&T upgrades: the UT Starcom QuickFire. Another unsurprising choice, the QuickFire is likely popular among early adopters of touch screen phones who quickly released that they prefer the feel and accuracy of a physical, full QWERTY keyboard. But that’s not to say that it’s one or the other – the QuickFire has an external display that works as a touch screen, too. With mobile e-mail, instant messenger, assisted GPS, AT&T Navigator, a full HTML browser and a 1.3 megapixel camera, this phone has excellent functionality from both worlds.

3.Samsung Eternity (nka the Samsung Solstice)

Samsung’s most popular AT&T phone is also the top AT&T upgrade. Though it’s recently been relaunched as the Samsung Solstice, the Samsung Eternity remains a pretty decent phone. It packs a 3.0 megapixel camera (better than the QuickFire), and a 3.2 inch touch screen (slightly bigger than the Vu) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, the Eternity has a lot to offer multimedia junkies. The “widget” applications make navigating the Samsung Eternity’s features quick and easy as well.

We all know it – the only thing better than a new cell phone is a newer cell phone. AT&T’s wide selection of touch screen phones, smart phones, camera phones and music player phones makes choosing difficult. But with so many excellent phones on the table, it’s also hard to go wrong. If none of the top 3 catch your fancy, consider the rest of the top 10 AT&T upgrades:
