Three Android Smartphones You May Have Overlooked

Android has been taking the cell phone world by storm for good reason – most of the Android smartphones are, well, incredibly intelligent. While there are lots of Android smartphones to select from, here are some of the best Androids on the market.

HTC Hero

The Hero comes with 500MHZ or processing power and its wi-fi capabilities are speedy (3.5G), but the little extras that the Hero has make this phone stand out from the crowd. One feature that’s especially interesting is the Android clock, which seems to jump out of the screen rather than sit stagnantly towards the bottom of the screen.

Users may also enjoy the fact that the Hero has 7 different screens that can be scrolled through at one time (just a swipe of the finger will do). The Hero also comes with constant Twitter updates for those who like to tweet, and a detailed local weather forecast. Style-wise, the HTC Hero is sleek, compact, and the new design drastically minimizes glare. Cleaning the Hero is easy, since this phone has a smooth Teflon coating.

T-Mobile Pulse

T-Mobile has always been known as a user-friendly company, which is why the Pulse makes it to the top of the Android list. As with all T-Mobile phones, the Pulse is a pay-as-you-go phone, which makes it entirely affordable. The Pulse includes Wi-Fi, GPS, plenty of appealing applications, a responsive touchscreen, and HSPA. The Pulse is a straightforward smartphone with all of the apps that you could want without any of the expensive, and sometimes unnecessary, extras.

Motorola Dext

The number one reason why consumers and reviewers alike adore the Dext is simple – this phone has a large and fully functional QWERTY keyboard. In addition, the Dext also has a camera, excellent apps, respectful media players, and plenty of social networking capabilities. If you want a phone that’s especially great for texting, then the Dext is the phone for you. This phone can also be highly customized, which makes it even more appealing.
