I just bought my mom (85) an awesome cell phone at Target. She lives alone (although not too far from me) and she is always on the road, shopping. I looked around for something that wasn’t too expensive because I just want it as an emergency phone for her while she is on the road. I found the Net10 plan. It is a prepaid plan which is perfect for her because she talks on average, about 200 minutes a month (while she is shopping she likes to talk!). I pay only $15 a month on her phone which is great cause I have to pay for my familys phones too. They also have great service! Never a dropped call in the mall. Now I have piece of mind that if she is ever lost or she needs someone, she can pick up the phone and call me. I would recommend it for any elderly people looking for a good phone.
