Senior Cell Phones
More and more seniors have begun purchasing cell phones, and this has prompted various cell phone companies to manufacture phones that are entirely senior-friendly. If you are shopping for a phone for your favourite senior, then there are just a few things to keep in mind.
The first thing that you have to think about (and this may be the most important detail) is keeping any cell phone that you purchase simple. While phones that are filled with the latest gadgets may be entertaining, most seniors don’t care about these additional applications.
Also, be sure to purchase a phone that has large numbers. Small QWERTY keyboards may be ideal for those who love to text, but many seniors will never send a text. Look for a phone that has large numbers, so that a senior can easily dial without any problems.
Another thing to remember is that seniors often have trouble hearing, which means that phones that are hearing aid compatible are best. Check with a cell phone carrier about phones that can be specially made to work with hearing aids.
Some phones worth of consideration include the Samsung Jitterbug, the Clairty Life, and the Samsung Smooth. All of these phones are senior-friendly, and most of them are easy to find. Big buttons, colourful displays, and simplistic applications make these phones popular amongst seniors. Keep in mind that buying a cell phone for a senior means buying a phone that only includes basic details. Phones that are too complex will simply end up confusing most seniors.

Phone for seniors could really come in handy especially during an emergency. Like the Just5 phone (www.Just5.com) that has an SOS button at the back!

I believe that is the Senior phone KK S180. This phone is also available through snapfon.com and they claim the phone will work with the Rogers network. Senior cell phones for Canada now available. This is good.
