Meet DoubleTwist: Android’s Smart New Music Manager

DoubleTwist is the latest way that Android is making life easier. Similar to iTunes, DoubleTwist makes it possible for users to select, search, download, and store music all from the comfort of your cell phone. While Double Twist works on many different types of Android phones, it also works on various other phones and mp3 players.

Basically, DoubleTwist synchs your musical library with nearly any other device that you have from your cell phone to your computer. Not only will DoubleTwist find and synch any music you currently have, it will also allow you to buy new tunes from Amazon. With a simple click, purchase, and drag feature, any song that you want to purchase will be automatically added to your playlist.

Another great feature of DoubleTwist is the “share” feature, which allows you to send any songs from your current library to any friend of family member. That’s right, your friends and family members don’t have to purchase songs in order to enjoy them – all you have to do is send any song that you have to anyone you wish.

The one drawback to DoubleTwist is the fact that it’s slightly tricky to navigate if you aren’t used to iTunes. Then again, this version of DoubleTwist is the first of its kind, so you can expect some of the kinks to be worked out in the future. As it stands, DoubleTwist is the only music manager of its kind that allows you to synch, download, and share music all at once.
