Best Smartphone for Watching Movies
Which of the newer cell phones is the best for viewing movies on? It is true that all cell phones come equipped with phone books, calculators, games and cameras—but, that isn’t always everything that the consumer wants. Trying to find a cell phone that accomplishes everything the user wants—including playing movies—is not always easy, so here are some cell phones to compare each other to.
Taking a look at the LG Expo for instance, there are many plusses to this camera phone. Microsoft Mobile Windows 6.5 to do some needed work when necessary and Wi-Fi to connect with anyone at anytime. Saving the best for last, however, brings up the ability to watch movies on the LG Expo—flawlessly compared to any other phone.
Sending a movie to a Blackberry can be easily accomplished—if it’s under a file size of 2.9 MB, particularly if it’s being emailed. Otherwise, the file is deleted, and the movie obviously isn’t seen. However, if the video clip—not truly a movie—is small enough, the quality is actually very good on a BlackBerry.
Watching a movie using an LG Expo is a different matter altogether. With the large touch screen, and an attachable 40” Pico Projector screen available separately, viewing a movie on the LG Expo is easy on the eyes—no matter which route is taken.
In comparison, another LG phone, the LG Chocolate is a close runner-up to the LG Expo—depending on which version is obtained. There are two versions—the US version, (LG V8575) and the UK/Asian model (LG Chocolate BL40.) Both do a good job of showing movies to consumers in a clear screen. However, the UK/Asian version is much better and sharper than the US model. With a minimal pixel resolution of 400 x 240 on the US Chocolate, the movie is fun to watch, but it could be better.
Iphones on the other hand, when compared to the LG Expo are also pretty nice to watch, but the picture still is not as clear, and the Iphones do not have one benefit the Expo does—the Pico Projector. By virtue of that little accessory, the LG Expo is able to project a movie or presentation up onto a wall or screen for everyone to see—in clear, sharp detail.
Consumers must check out the phones on their own, and decide for themselves—but it’s fairly obvious that if movie-watching is the desired option, especially through a projector, then the LG Expo is the choice to make!
