AT&T’s FamilyTalk plans are great for families that, well, love to talk. You can have two lines on this plan (apply your minutes to either line), or you can add an additional line for a minimal fee. These plans also include unlimited night and weekend calling, unlimited calling to other AT&T wireless members, and Rollover plans that will help you save unused minutes.

In addition, you won’t be charged any roaming or long distance charges while within the United States, so this plan is great for families that travel a lot. Right now, you can also get at free LG phone with any AT&T Family Plan.

When you sign a two-year Family Plan contract with AT&T, you can receive up to three phones for free (depending upon the type of Family Plan that you choose). The LG Xenon, VU, Incite, and Neon are all part of this deal.

Another great family option is the Family Share plan by Verizon Wireless. This plan allows any family to share 700 minutes, unlimited night and weekends, and free roaming and long distance within the United States.

Family Share members will also receive call forwarding, caller ID, voice mail, text messaging, and a lot of other options. Phones that come with this plan include the LG Chocolate Touch, the Droid ERIS, and the Blackberry Curve.

Lastly, the Family Time plans from T-Mobile are worth looking into. All of these plans come with standard night and weekend unlimited minutes, no roaming or long distance charges, and standard features such as call forwarding and call messaging.
