The Key Ring, a New Froogloid Mobile Application

There are probably some of you that already know of the mythical product that is called “Key Ring.” Although it’s been mentioned other places and now here there is yet to be any substantial information about:
•    What exactly it does
•    When exactly its release date is
•    What exactly it’s going to look like
•    More questions
Now that we have that out of the way I still look forward to providing you further information along with this blog post so you can know what it looks like and some additional information.
Once you have all of the information you can ask yourself some questions about whether or not you want to employ this cell phone product, the features that you want to see and more. The unfortunate thing is that the Key Ring isn’t completely ready for the marketplace quite yet but Simmone Mago, the lead developer for it, is working very hard and is hoping to be able to discharge it within just a week or two at the most.
We’ll do a quick overview and list out some of the features so you can make some assessments.
Overview
So what exactly is Key Ring?
With the key ring you’re able to leave all of those annoying club cards that you have to carry with you at your home. With the Key Ring you’re able to simply generate a digital duplicate of any of your club cards through simply scanning the barcode or you can manually the information as well.
The Key Ring is currently producing logos for more than one-hundred and fifty of the most popular retailers. Not to worry though if the specific merchant you’re trying to input isn’t listed, you can simply select the “other” option from the retailer drop-down and enter the retailers name manually.
When you’re at the store and at the POS all you have to do is simply launch your Key Ring application and then select the saved card from your home screen and then you simply need to have the associate scan the barcode from your screen. The Key Ring user interface has been enhanced in order to ensure the success rate of the scanning.
In order to get the best results you need to use the handheld laser, image scanner or CCD. If at all possible you should avoid using Key Ring with any flatbed laser scanner.

Features
Key Ring features are as follows:
Supports one dimensional barcodes of the following:
•    EAN13
•    EAN8
•    UPCA
•    UPCE
•    Code128
•    Code39
Additionally:
•    Retailer logos added automatically
•    Incorporated barcode scanner
•    Supports the adding of other cards that don’t employ barcodes
•    Manually add in other retailers
•    Stores an unlimited number of cards
It looks like it’s going to be an amazing feature. Hopefully Simmone Mago stays hard at work so we can see it in its entirety much sooner than later.
